Yesterday track and field finals, one of the better responds that we have seen for the past 2 years.. Either that or becos the sec 4s were all cheering their hearts out. Somehow the final year is always the most memoriable..

Finished school at 1.05, left at around 2, becos Weiliang wanna wait for some..erm...juniors -.-" ah thats typical.. shunt elaborate on that.. Aniway, met up wif Nivel(later he siao siao run around stadium wif VS flags.. must be suffering from post-VS syndrome..) at the national stadium and we were directed to the sec 4s area, with the RJC contingent right behind us, and the Cedar gals directly opposite the stadium.

Somehow the girls manage to trash us in cheering (as said by Justin, higher frequency=louder=travel further), but it is really the start of the 1st rain that starts all the fun. VS, being typical boy school, holded our grounds and became more united, using our umbrellas to shelter our bag only, apart from sOmE gu niangs who hided under brollys as if the rain will melt them. Waves of "VS boleh" and "VS unite" broke out, with the RJC people staring at us as if we were crazy..

1st rain stop, continued standing+cheering, races began again. CK was telling me to go buy food to eat. As i was getting my wallet, i felt one drop of water coming down. Shit, here comes the 2nd rain! :D lolx. RJC gals disappeared again, while SJI and VS still remained. Interesting school spirit seen at Cedar there.. even their umbrellas also all blue colour one.. I heard from my cedar friend that early in the morning the Chinese High people cooped the grandstand seats reserved for Cedar and refused to budge.. eh... oh well..

As usual, Nabil won a spectecular 1500m wif the Chinese High guy behind biting his dust.. Overall, VS got C div 2nd, B div 3rd, Chinese High both div champs again -.-" But this year got Singapore Sports School, competition was tougher.

And honestly speaking, for a autonomous school to compete against richer independent and professional schools, VS can get this type of result is already a miricle lor, although this miricle had already lasted for so many years.. Btw, I'm thinking of writing a report (for LianHe ZaoBao) on this event.. But i cant decide on whether to write on the VS results or do a interview on Nabil.. Victorians any suggestions? The whole Victorian population went down to field for prize-giving, and the sec 4s instinctly fall back when school song finish :D Went to BK for dinner(6th whopper in 6 days..), took bus to Kallang MRT and reached home at 9.30. Mom nagging why i so late.. but heck lar.. last year liao, i aint gonna give a damn.

1st thing after flag-raising went to toilet, den plat! Zip spoilt.. -.-" Well done. Never mind, still manage to lock the pants wif my belt in such a way that cannot see got problem..

Then Chemistry Ah Wong never come, left us to do lab on our own.. Chinese as usual, do some worksheet while Ah Wang rattles away.. Never bring enuff money to buy pants, so stay in classroom during recess..

After that bio prac, Ah Leow never come, 3 periods were spent on our own bluetooth (and infra-red) hub, exchanging wallpapers and ringtones. Oh yeah, CK got a 6230, somehow, he managed to transform a scolding for his $90 starhub bill to subscribing a new m1 suntext plan to satisfy his sms need. lolx, way to go bro. Later Ah Kwok came in for 1 period to talk about some social studies SEQ, catching everyone unguarded wif their phones and discmans. But she only confiscated Brandon's phone cos he was sitting near the door. -.-"

Then A maths, Ah Teo's lesson, as usual, fun and food fair, eating double deckers and dried squid strips.. So basically, i learnt nuts in school today..

Went BK for lunch, yes my 5th whopper in 5 days =), was about to have my 1st bite when i heard a loud "URGH!!". CK spilled his coke on the floor, leaving like only one mouthful in his cup. We laugh at him, den i gave him half of my coke, while the bk uncle grumble as he mop the floor.

Thats what brothers are for.

Then the real joke began, i never cover the lid of my cup back properly, den while i was about to take a sip, i was basically holding the lid. yeah u guessed it. The damn half-full cup of coke pour onto my already-wif-no-zipper pants, leaving only one drop in my cup.. Now CK's turn to laugh crazily at me, offering to pour back his cup of coke into mine, while the now really black face uncle mop the floor the 2nd time, mumbling in his mouth:" Can't you kids grow up.."

Now that's what brothers are really for. You jump, I jump. You pour, I pour. -.-"

Thursday= eat-ur-hearts-out day? Yeah i tink we planning to do that.. 3 days ago, we went to Sakae Sushi again.. The occasion? Edwin treating us becos he bet that he cant get below 15 mins for 2.4. Den voila~ somehow he manage to run without stopping, and finished in 14+min. Although he still fail, we were all happy. We got our meal, he got his target. lolx.

Which btw, I pass! 1st attempt too! partially thanks to the threadmill i have been running everyday, and also because we were running with 4G, kinda pressurised by the sports class.. My left leg hurts like free(old injury)after the run, limp all the way back from east coast park.. took lift, met some teachers who looked at me suspiciously.. what la, cannot pull my muscle while running izzit.. Somehow it still hurts abit now, hope it will go away soon..

After school chiong Sakae, 10 people turned up, and i insisted on 3 tables when the waitress try to persuade me for 2.. Siao lar, no way im squeezing again, esp when im almost hopping all the time... Ordinary routine, 10 plates sushi, 4 plates gyoza and 2 plates tako yaki. Edwin that table dumb dumb go order things that are not on the buffet, ended up playing more..

Friday and Sat was Burger King frenzy.. which i downed two whopper meal at one time.. Eh.. its really nothing much lar.. its juz bread wif some vege and a patty of meat.. the drink is always the irritating one, make me bloated.. thats why i offered it to others..

Oh yeah, missed a friend twice on two consecutive days at PP. Once was because on different storey, the other was because of wrong timing -.-" sia lar, can anything be more qiao than that. Somemore is always some other people who told me that she's in the building. Ok, im blind.

Today went to Toa Payoh Hub, had lunch at Crystal Jade, den went to supermarket.. Sunkist got a new drink which is orange mixed wif peach. I happy happy go buy a bottle. Yuck, taste horrible, dun try it guys.. Came home, go gym, write testi for CK, and going to bed soon. Waking up at 4am to watch Copa cup finals, which i suppose will be much more exciting that Euro finals..

1st thing 1st.. I slept on the bus yesterday.. no big deal.. The problem was.. I slept till ang mo kio interchange.. Was still in dreamland when someone tap my shoulders and say:" xiao didi, dao ni de zhan le" I still blur blur wif eyes shut, den ask him in chinese how he noe i reach my stop. Then he say:" dao zhong zhan le.." Opened my eyes, holy shit. AMK interchange.. and its the bus driver who wake me up... -.-" grrr.. next time need to set alarm clock..

Today racial harmony, at 1st didnt bring nuts to skool. Then wah lao, almost whole class wearing.. even the most desperate people managed to get a sarong and wore pe shirt.. Feel abit paiseh so tried to ask around got spare clothes anot.. Thanks to my class monitor Benin, who was really kind-hearted to lend me a nice indian costume.. So ta-da! Posed for some class photos and went on to the station games..

This year quite fun, school organised traditional games for us to play. Shant go into the details, but they were really hilarious. We managed to win all the station games and topped the level. Went to school hall for the concert, only like the part where the drums played.. cos my juniors in it.. :D The sec one "catwalk" was boring, sec 2 presentation even worse. Later Benin went up stage to receive the champion prizes.. which is some "24k Gold VS bookmark". Eh... whatever..

After school went to parkway fish and co. wif ck and ms tan. 3 person ordered two seafood platter for 2, which the waitress advice is too much for us, with us grinning back and asked her to continue with the order. Conclusion: Cleanilised pans were collected by the impressed waitress.. Dun doubt our appetite.. Oh yeah, not fogetting to mention, thanks Ms Tan! :D

Some more things that happened this week:
 
Zhong Yu's birthday on Thursday, so we all went to Yoshinoya for lunch. I was feeling so hungry that i downed a beef bowl set and another combo set.. As usual, ZY keep saying that "he can't believe I eat so much". -.-" eh brother, is not i eat much, is you eat little..
 
After that, Chin Chong pulled us to MPH to look at a book. Whats so special abt it? Its  named "book of answers". No stories or paragraphs in it. All u have to do is (follow the instructions at the back..) :
1. Put one palm on the front cover.
2. Stroke the pages wif ur free hand (Yes they did say stroke.. lolx).
3. think of a question which gives a yes/no answer.
4. Then flip open the page wherever ur hand wants to stop at.
 
We tried it couple of times and was kinda impressed by it. ZY asked if he will make it to RJC. Then the book said: "Unless done well, if not forget it." Cool.... like very accurate sia..
 
Then i played wif it, laughed till almost roll on floor. I asked: Will I turn gay? The book said: make a list of why not. rotf. Oh man.. im destinied to be gay.. But nvm, i have Li Seng to accompany me, cos he asked the same question, and guess what? the book say: It is significant. Wahahaha! 
 
Friday went to Van's bday bbq. Like i said, the 7 VS people were like outnumbered 7 to 1. So u can imagine how many people turned up. Cannot help it lar, people popular wad. Then Lim Yun, CK and I played blackjack, wif LY gtting either triple 7, 21 or blackjack every round. Guess why? the dealer was bryan tan -.-".  What can u do when a trained magician is the dealer sia.. 
 
Then we tricked a friend of van to play wif us. This boy, around 7 yrs old, wearing a cowboy hat, was rather innocent. LY told him, if he lose, he got to stand on the table, swing his arm and say:" I'm here to hunt sUm chicks!" Then, this kid took up the dare, but lost like dunno what (dealer still uncle bryan..). Then really jump on the wooden table and say out loud:" I'm here to hunt SUM CHICKS!!!" Leavng me, LY and CK walking to one side, laugh like mad, den pretend dunno him. *evil* =D
 
Sat was rather sian.. go school for Amaths, den had lunch at canteen. Eh, the new wanton mee store not bad sia, got standard.. gonna patron it frequently.. Today rushed some geog and ss homework, and dug out an old chinese work i done to copy as Sui Bi (something like random entry..). Still find the work nice, wrote it last year,  describing love as something else. Got time i will try to post it here..
 
Oh yeah, special thanks to Yinglei for her birthday presents. I was really impressed by the handmade card.. Find one day go frame it up.. lolx. And i liked the keychain and stars too. Thanks alot gal!
 
And this is to one of my brother: Dun be obsessed wif love. Dun let it overtake you. You are what you are, dun let it change you. At a period like this, its not worth it. Sometimes, u have to let go of certain things to make everybody happier. Sometimes, u might have to take a step back to see the bigger picture. Sometimes, it might juz be u paranoid. Cheers.

Juz came back from van's bday bbq not long ago  Nice party, lotsa people turned up, but me and CK initially were so lonely.. till Charlton & Co. arrived, den ta-da! we had a mini gathering of our own..
 
I'm burned out.. Not enuff sleep, pulled my back muscles in gym, and there's this freaking a maths class tomorrow.

July 9th

Today is a very special day too.. Last year, on this day, Victoria School Chinese Orchestra proved their worth. On this day, VsCo gave their life. On this day, VsCo went for Singapore Youth Festival Chinese Orchstra Central Judging 2003. On this day, VsCo cried. On this day, WE GOT GOLD. No more looking down by Choir and Band. No more taunting by others. We Walked Tall. We hold our heads high, and proved to the rest of the school that we, VsCo, are among the top in Singapore. I can still feel the atmosphere on that day. The cheers, the joy, the triumph. On the very next day, Aik Chin Chong, chairman 03/04, announced this to the whole school, and was responded with rounds of applause that we truly deserve. And I am so god-damn proud to be part of it. :)

July 7

Ur dear blogger's birthday. =) Arrived in school, went to CO room, and the 1st thing that happened was Li Seng throwing a big green plastic bag at me.. Opened it and found a new black sling bag. Thanks alot Li Seng, but i dun tink i will be using it now, cos the old one haven spoilt yet..

Then went to classroom for morning assembly. At 1st when i enter, i didnt realise what they were giggling about, i settled down and looked at the whiteboard. In bold red words, it was written this: Daniel Hung's birthday. 7 July. I love JACK neo!! -.-" The jack part.. dun wanna go into details, but i'm lucky i didnt lose my future generations on that day..

Weiliang flung me their gift. Two adorable, really cute(although i hate mysewlf for saying those words..) monkey statues. Hehe. Thanks to Weiliang, Jun Xian, Ching Kai, Justin, Edwin and Siu Hon. Been playing wif them throughout the day.. =D

At night, went to goodwood park wif my parents to have japanese teppanyaki buffet. Man did it taste good. Busy frying beef and eating tempura.. Oh yeah, i also got a new handphone as a bday present from my parents. The Mitsubishi M750! Woohoo~ My dream phone~ Fooling around wif it these couple of days... Gonna get a pc link soon to upload my pics into this com.

July 8th

Went to parkway after school wif Weiliang, CK, Edwin, Justin and Zhi Xiong to celebrate my bday. Walked 2 rounds at the PP basement before hitting Sakae Sushi at 3pm, when their buffet lunch start. It was total madness. We decided to have a eating competition to see who can eat the most no. of plates of sushi. In the end, we had an average of 10 plates each and it was hilarious seeing the amused and shocked face of the waitress when we finally allowed her to clear the plates.

At 1st CK didnt eat cos he's meeting his gal half an hour later. But when his gal said that she will be late, he went crazy, told the waiter to add one more person to the bill, and started attacking the conveyer belt. My god, he was so desperate that he shoved the sushi into his mouth wif his bare hands and even cleared the rice grains on the plate. wahahaha. He caught up wif Edwin minutes later(he was leading wif 4 plates). lolx. man, u rock~!

And thats not the end of story. after having combined 60+ plates of sushi, 30+ plates of gyozas, handrolls and takopachi, we paid the bill, and went next door to Swenson's. :D Ordered a regular Swenson's Earthquake and started pigging ourself out wif delicious pleasure. And Edwin took one big scoop of the chocolate one, leaving little for the rest of us -.-" Nvm, we still got 7 other flavours. :D When we are finally done, we walked out of PP like some stuffed duck, yao si bu si(gonna die but cannot die), with Weiliang keep on telling other:" Eh! walk slower lar!" and "Dun die dun die.." wahahaha.

And btw, on this day, its also my twin's birthday. :) Happy birthday to you too!

A few hk friends came over yesterday. Arrived at night, so brought them to lau pa sat to have dinner. Regretted it.. Price damn ex, food not up-to standard, and about one-fifth of the stores had closed down.. For Christ sake, its supposed to be a tourist attraction, where people can sample all the local delights under one house, but yuck, juz a place of crap.. Maybe, the new outdoor hawker opposite Orchard Centrepoint will be better? Hmmm.. find one day go try..

And yeah, being a half-singaporean, im proud to say that i had finally taken a trip through the singapore river :D Lolx, after dinner, took them to Clark Quey for a walk, then we decided to take the boat to Boat Quey. $3 per person. Quite ex for such a short trip, but never mind lar, once in a long long while.. Realised that there are quite a number of bridges overpassing the river, and that the nightview of the CBD is rather beautiful.. Wasted that i never bring my camera along.

And oh yeah, halfway throught the trip, they decided to go Esplanade after all. So i went to tell the old man driving the boat, he told me need to pay extra $2 for each person, I told him not a prob den went back to my seat.. Few mins later, he asked me go over and said in chinese: "Ah boy ah, the trip hor, cost $10 more for u, why dun u gimme some coffee money, then i juz send u there, but u dun go tell my supervisor hor.." -.-"

Kinda obvious what is happening right? cos if i top up the trip money, it doesnt goes into his pocket anyway.. So.. He ended up having extra $4 for coffee.. lolx. Nvm lar, its a dying trade, and im sure the $4 means pretty much to a old fellow who still has to work at his age.. And he keep telling me dun tell his supervisor, lest he lose his job.. When we alight, he even made sure i walked far away from the ticketing office before zooming off..

Long weekend, finally this year Youth Day no nid go HDB collect newspaper.. but i kinda miss going from unit to unit, toking to friendly ah-mas.. I still remember, got cantonese-speaking one is i settle, den hokkien is Justin, tamil is... u know who lar hor.. :D

Mmmmm... Saturday almost gone.. Dad reaching tonight(11+?), which means that im gonna watch Euro finals wif him (Greece sux!!). And it also means, i will have a p900 to use very soon.. muahahaha.
